Oh NO! it's Valentine's Day

Oh damn! It's Valentine's Day! It just not the same anymore...

According to history, Valentine's Day is about honouring a third-century Christian martyr who became the patron saint of lovers, but the celebration is not universally popular. Traditionally, romantics of the world exchange gifts and flowers.

But today, It's so commercialized, One word: MONEY!

Lovely roses? Cuddly teddy bears? Diamond Ring? Romantic candlelight dinner? SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!! Why do people make a big fuss about this day? To me it's just another day.. come on now, if your other half loves you.. he or she would have shown their LOVE to you everyday right? ok ok... I admit, I was once a victim too but now Valentine's Day to me is just for teenagers lah..

After work, on my way to the MRT station, there's this little flower shop and this guy in his mid 40s, wearing suit and tie, holding a stalk of rose, I couldn't help but find it funny... and again I saw another guy holding a small bouquet of flowers waiting patiently outside the MRT Station... and I begin to count the number of guys holding flowers: 12! I had fun counting them! I look forward to the next valentine's day so I can break my record. HAPPY VALENTINE'S anyhow!
